***February 2012 Update*** This warm weather must have everyone thinking summer!! Country Club Glen is extremely full. At this time we have 3 weeks that there are spaces for campers all week. Week 1, Week 6, and Week 11 are still open at CCG. We have a few scattered days throughout the remainder of the summer that we would be able to place campers at CCG. Otherwise, we are excited to share that there are still openings at Wildwood and Campbell Parks. Let us know if you have any questions.***
Day Camp Adventures is constantly seeking ways to improve the services that we offer our families. For Summer 2012 Day Camp Adventures is making a few changes to our third site. We have loved having Greenbelt Park as a DCA site for ten years. However, with all the high water that Greenbelt receives we found ourselves contemplating buying a boat instead of a bus to safely transport our campers to that site! Aaron, Beau, and the rest of our drivers are fantastic, but we don’t know that we’re ready for them to captain a boat! As a result we have made the decision to add Wildwood Park as a permanent site for 2012 as a replacement site for Greenbelt. Campbell Park and Country Club Glen will serve kids going into Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, just as DCA always has. Which leads us to another change we are excited to make! Beginning Summer 2012 Wildwood Park will be designed to serve kids going into Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, however their field trip schedule will vary a little. You will notice that there are field trips such as go-carts, swimming pools that may appeal to older campers, service learning experiences such as the Animal Rescue League, etc. We are excited to offer this option for some of our older campers looking for a little change. Be sure to indicate your site preference when registering so that we can secure a spot for you that best matches the needs of your family.
